UV Blood Irradiation
At Arizona Integrative Medical Center, Dr. Stallone often employs a combination of therapies with the UV light therapy. For example Ozone and/or hydrogen peroxide in combination with the light therapy is one of the most powerful therapies for restoring oxidative metabolism; also known as Photox therapy. This tends to be extremely effective in treating chronic diseases.
Ultraviolet light as a medical treatment (Photoluminescence) has been used since the beginning of the century. The technique is merely using UV light to stimulate and/or balance the immune system and various enzyme systems. Ultraviolet light has different waves, one of which being UVB. UVB light it is an effective protection against the generation of tumors.
Blood Exposure to ultraviolet light has been shown to have the following effects:
- Increase in the oxygen combining power of the blood;
- Inactivation of toxins and viruses;
- Destruction and inhibition of fungal and bacterial growth;
- Activation of the immune system;
The blood that is exposed to the ultraviolet light continues to emit secondary radiation. Some scientists believe this may be the way ultraviolet blood irradiation has cumulative effects. Each treatment builds on and enhances the effects of previous treatment.
The following medical conditions may benefit from UV Blood Irradiation:
- Cancer-adjunctive conditions
- Viral Infections
- Bacterial Infections
- Chronic Fatigue
- Poor Oxygen
- Toxicity
- Poor Immune Function
- Arthritis-adjunctive conditions
- Candidiases (fungal infections)
- Blood Poisoning
- Poor Circulation
- Low Blood Counts
- Allergies
- Asthma
- Emphysema
- Diabetes Complications
- Rheumatologic Diseases
